Welcome to I LOVE TRANSMEDIA

I am delighted to be able to present you this fourth eventedition, made possible by the efforts of the many people who worked on it and all the enthusiastic, innovative professionals who have again accepted our invitation this year.

Over the last ten years, the media landscape has been revolutionized by the influence of the all-devouring, prolific, centralizing metamedia infrastructure that is the web, and with it the art of storytelling. The I LOVE TRANSMEDIA festival was set up to review these radical developments – observing, elucidating and facilitating them as far as possible – and to celebrate creative talent in a domain where technology is opening up new entertainment opportunities and changing our world views.

So here is the program of this fourth, particularly rich eventedition. It begins with the work from of students who have participated in the TIU Lab. The subsequent high point is a very special look at the last 10 years of web creation – the subject of a dedicated exhibition and plenary conference, many specialized round tables and a Nuit Blanche all-night event where music will cross the boundaries of its usual forms of expression, videogames will be played developed live and web series will acquire a whole new dimension on a wide screen.
